Fly Control
مكافحة الذباب
Insect light traps, drain treatments, and bait stations — calibrated for kitchens and food service.
What we do
Flies in commercial kitchens are a HACCP compliance issue first and a customer complaint second. MEPCO installs commercial-grade insect light traps (ILTs), treats drains where drain flies breed, and places bait stations at strategic harborage points. Monthly service contracts include ILT bulb replacement, glue board changes, and a written log book required for restaurant inspection.

Common questions
How do ILTs (insect light traps) work?
Commercial-grade ILTs use UV light to attract flying insects to a glue board where they're trapped. Bulbs replaced monthly, boards changed weekly during high season.
What's the difference between drain flies and fruit flies?
Drain flies breed in biofilm inside drains and pipes — drain treatment eliminates the source. Fruit flies breed on overripe produce and standing organic matter — sanitation + bait stations.
Do you provide HACCP-compliant documentation?
Yes. Every monthly visit includes a service log book entry kept on-site, plus an inspection-ready report for HACCP auditors and MoPH inspectors.
Is monthly service worth it for a small café?
If you handle food, yes. Monthly preventive service is a small fixed cost that prevents the customer-complaint and inspection issues that close cafés overnight.
