MEPCO — Middle East Pest Control — was founded in 2001 by Edmond Boutros in Mansourieh el Metn. We’ve been the same family business, under the same MoPH license, ever since. 7,200+ spaces across Lebanon and Cairo trust us. We’d like to earn yours.
The MEPCO story
In 2001, Lebanese pest control was dominated by either large international franchises with corporate billing and zero presence, or one-man operators with no training, no license, and no paperwork. Edmond Boutros saw a third path: a licensed, family-run specialist that treated every property like it was their own.
We started with one van and one technician serving Mansourieh. By 2008 we’d earned MoPH License No. 2/277 — at the time, one of fewer than 50 independent operators in Lebanon certified to the Ministry of Public Health’s standard. By 2014 we were 1,000 clients deep, and the only pest-control company in Mount Lebanon offering same-day dispatch.
Twenty-four years on, the model hasn’t changed. We still answer the phone. We still know your building. Our technicians are still trained in-house. The license is still 2/277.
What has changed: 7,200+ spaces protected, HACCP- compliant restaurant chains, hotel-group partnerships, a Cairo operation, and the most documented service log book in Lebanese pest control.

Founded
Edmond Boutros founds Middle East Pest Control in Mansourieh el Metn. First commercial contract: a Mount Lebanon restaurant chain that’s still a client today.
- 2008
MoPH Licensed
Lebanese Ministry of Public Health Licence No. 2/277 issued — placing MEPCO among the first independent operators certified to MoPH standards.
- 2014
1,000th client
Crossed the 1,000-client milestone. Expanded the fleet to cover all of Lebanon with same-day dispatch.
- 2020
HACCP partner
Adopted as preferred pest-control vendor by multiple Lebanese hotel chains and HACCP-audited restaurant groups. Disinfection services added.
- 2025

Modern brand relaunch. Twenty-four years of pest control under the same family, same license, same standard. Cairo expansion live.
