Middle East Pest Control

Ant Control

مكافحة النمل

Colony-level elimination using bait gels — not surface sprays that just scatter the colony.

What we do

Visible ants are 10% of the colony. Spraying them kills only the workers and triggers the queen to relocate, often making the problem worse. MEPCO uses bait gels that worker ants carry back to the colony, eliminating it at the source. Treatments are odorless, food-safe, and target argentine ants, ghost ants, and pavement ants — the three species responsible for 95% of indoor ant infestations in Lebanon.

What’s included

  • Identification of ant species and trails
  • Bait gel application at trail intersections
  • Follow-up at 14 days
  • Prevention recommendations

Target pests

Argentine ant, ghost ant, pavement ant, carpenter ant.

Common questions

Why does spraying make my ant problem worse?

Spraying kills visible workers and triggers the queen to relocate or split the colony — leading to multiple satellite nests. Bait gels eliminate the source. We don't spray for ants.

How long does treatment take to work?

Bait gels show visible reduction in worker traffic within 3–7 days. Colony elimination typically takes 14–21 days. We follow up at 14 days.

Are the baits safe near food prep areas?

Yes. Modern gel baits are food-safe and applied in cracks, under cabinets, and along trails — never on food-contact surfaces. Restaurants and kitchens are routine use cases.

What species do you treat?

The three most common indoor pests in Lebanon: argentine ants (small black), ghost ants (pale, ubiquitous in kitchens), and pavement ants. Carpenter ants on request.
